A Drawing Tutorial!
Draw a monstera leaf with me! A little how to on how I draw.
Everyone has their own way of drawing, but I thought I'd share a simple guide as to how I draw digitally in my illustration style. I'll preface this and say that I am terrible as describing/instructing what to do, so hopefully it does make some sense?!
There's also a video attached showing each step, as whilst I try to describe what I'm doing below as best I can, it might not always make sense without a visual!
What you'll need:
- iPad and Apple pencil with Procreate
- A reference photo
Step 1 - start by drawing the outline
TIP! Always use different layers for each part of the drawing, e.g. the outlines on one layer, block colour on another and shading on another
